Kathleen was one of my mother’s favorite people to be around, now they are together forevermore walking the paths in heaven. My mother’s face would always light up when they were looking at each other and talking. I think that was when I heard my mother laugh the hardest. There was just something about Kathleen that flipped her switch and turned on her tickle box.
Yes, the sting of death effects all those who are left behind and we sometimes selfishly wish we could hold on just a little bit longer to those we love. However, the One who knows all things has made plans that far surpass those made by us mortals who are here for just a moment of time in the grand scheme of things. His plans are everlasting; ours are just temporal and will soon fade like this morning’s fog.
The reception Kathleen got up in heaven far surpassed what she had here with those of us left. To be honest, I get a little jealous just to think of what all of those loved ones who have already finished their races here on earth are doing in the land of no shadows. However, we must stay behind for the time being and do our part to impart the truth to all those entrusted to us…and this truth is simply this…He Lives, Christ Jesus lives, he came down and paid the price for us all and because He rose again on that 3rd day…He conquered the last enemy we had…death…for because He lives we can face today and tomorrow…because we have everlasting life with Him if we believe in our hearts these truths.
No man (or woman) has power over the wind to contain it; so no one has power over the day of his death, the writer of Ecclesiastes 8:8 say. When our time comes, it comes and it is time to go home, our heavenly home. Kathleen we will miss you, this soul knows you are now at peace, we love you and we will see you before too long.
May God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit comfort all the family and friends that are feeling this hurt. God Bless you all!

| My thoughts and prayers are with each and every loved one.I know you all will miss your Mother, and you will have a saddness for awhile, but knowing that she has no pain, no saddness, and is in Heaven with our Lord, and with your Father, and knowing you will all be together again one day will help with the saddness. Just imagine how beautiful it must be in our promised Heaven, and even more beautiful now that your mother is there. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. |

My Mama Kate was a second mother to me. My parents had me when they very young, and they struggled financially. If it weren't for Mama Kate and Daddy WL (and daddy's parents Mamaw and Papaw Fleming) I wouldn't have had the fabulous birthdays and Christmas's I did.
She was my last living blood grandparent. I will miss you, Mama Kate. You'll never know how influential you were to me. I not only loved you, I liked you a whole bunch!
I know Sylvy, Daddy WL, your mom Mary Alice and a slew of others were so glad to see you. I'll miss you forever.
Love, Paigey Pooh |

Terry, Kay & Darren, Wanted to let you know how much you’re in my thoughts and prayers and I Love you. We will always be family. I know and feel your loss because I loved her too; she was a Mom to me. And for Aunt Kat I know she is home now with Uncle W.L. and loving it. Finally, where her heart has always been with him again. I can hear and see her now convincing him it is all his idea, but really hers no matter what it pertains too. And of course he is loving it! Aunt Kat I thank God for letting me be a big part of your family and life. I will miss you so. My heart and thoughts are with you Terry, Kay and Darren. Always loving you, Gene
