Time is certainly fleeting for us all and I shall miss cousin Jim. My love and affection to all the family from the Kuykendall cousins in Texas. There are not many of us left.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all--Roberta, George, Lee, Lynn, Robert, Matt, Karlyn, Jamie, Phil, James and Parker--we love you. Jim was like a second dad to me when I met Lee in Newnan, and soon after, a very special friend throughout the years, to David. We're glad Jim got to see David's Harley before he sold it! As the head the Ferguson clan, Jim had such a significant influence in enriching our lives, with a lot of laughs and fun at our many get-togethers. He also gave me wise advise, about character and integrity. He will be so missed by us, but we cherish our memories.

Love, Janice(!)

On learning of Uncle Jim's passing, our thoughts are with all of you.  Sometimes it seems the circle gets smaller, but as I read of all the other folks he touched, I see it only getting larger.  Bless all of you.

I am one of the three grandsons of Jim's brother (John Markham Ferguson, Jr. of Williamsburg, VA, who passed away in 1999). Growing up my brother Ian and I heard so many great stories about "Uncle Jim" (my father, J. Mark Ferguson III, is his nephew) that we can't help but have a fond remembrance of the man despite only meeting him in person a handful of times. It's a good thing to leave such a large footprint on the world, in such a good way. So I hope that you all know that Uncle Jim was thought of and remembered up in Virginia. My condolences to all of you during this difficult time.

Roberta, I am so glad I got to know Jim even for a short time.  What a blessing for you to have so many years together!  You got to know and help so many in Sander's Terrace and I know you will enjoy continuing and expanding your ministry with our residents.  You are doing a work that is needed and appreciated.  You are a good neighbor and if you need anything, don't hesitate to call me.
Love,
