Aunt Mel, I never had the pleasure of meeting your mother;however, I feel that I know her by the way you speak so highly of her.  Remember that God has promised that He will never leave you or forsake you.  Trust that promise.  Pray to God for comfort and read John 14.  My heart and my prayers go out to you.

Melvinor, I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear about your Mother. I lost mine on June 30th and I really understand what life is putting you through. I've always love "Ms. Be" and you and your family. She is finally telling God what to do I'm sure. You know I'm joking, but it probably is true. She was an original one of a kind and I feel honored to have known her and her whole family. God be with you under these trying times. I love you Mel!!! Kaye Beckom Nutt

Mel, Carlton & Family,
"Miss B" was a very special lady. You made sure that she was provided the highest quality, compassionate care as she peacefully lived out her latter days. She was truly blessed to have you as her daughter and as her advocate.  We pray the Peace of God and the Communion of the Holy Spirit will strenghten and comfort you now and in the days, weeks and months to come.

My most sincere condolences are offered to Melvinor and Carlton.  I did not know your mother, but I know that "children are not like strangers - they are like the people who raised them".  Mel - you were truly raised to be a woman of elegance and integrity.  You are, no doubt, a direct reflection of the woman she was.  Your heart for giving comes from the example of true Christian Compassion that she lived in word and deed.  May God bless and strengthen you (and your entire family and community) now and in the days to come.
With love, Your Continental Sister

Mel, I am very sorry to hear about the passing of your mother..  May the wonderful memories of the time you shared together bring you happiness.  Continue to trust in the Lord and find comfort in His words, the Bible, expressed at Psalms 34:8. "O taste and see that the Lord is good:  blessed is the man that trusteth in Him."
From: John A. Malcolm,Jr.Jul 14 2010 6:51PM
We are deeply saddened that a pillar of strength has made her transition. However, we know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Keep strong and know that "Mrs. B" has touched many lives in a positive way. My father often spoke of her as "his teacher".

I will always remember Ms B because she had a very kind heart. She was a Lady in the true sense of the word. Her belief in Chist was evident without words.   I wish peace and blessings to her family.  God bless you all,
