Mrs. Byrd was a wonderful Christian lady.  I enjoyed our association as nusing home volunteers.  May God grant you all peace at this sad time, and give you wonderful memories for the days ahead.

To the Byrd Family,

We were saddened to learn of Miss Nora Lee's passing.  We feel privileged to have met her and to have worked with her on the painting that showcased her fun airshow/barnstormer days as "Fireball" Nora Lee.  We've shared that story with so many, near and far. It delights and impresses all who hear it and see the painting. You have our heartfelt condolences. Thanks for sharing Nora Lee with us for just a spell. We'll never forget her. God Bless you.
Sincerely,
Marc & Robin Stewart

I've been on a trip, so I didn't know when Nora had died, but had been praying for mercy for her while I was gone.  I praise God He extended His mercy to her and took her Home.  She had told me she was through fighting and I understood.  I loved having her in our SS class.  She participated by sharing a good bit of her life with us.  It has not been the same without her and Charlan.  I know how much she loved each of you and am glad she could spend her last days with you...Love, Ellie
