I just found out about Betty's passing. I have such good memories of her in our school years! I worked with her dad in the local tax office. Betty will be missed.

I was a year behind Betty in high school and have not seen her since then. The passing years have not diminished my memory of a young girl who always smiled, always had words of encouragement and always treated everyone she met as a friend.

I know she is a great loss to her family and friends. May you all take comfort in her memory.

I haven't seen Betty since I left Eastern Airlines in 1987 but have missed her so much.  She was always friendly and sweet and such a joy to be with.  We shared so much during those 15 years that I knew her when she worked in the Flight Attendent Crew Scheduling Department.  She was always ready to help you any way she could.  She talked often of her family and her hometown of Troutman (I grew up in Lincolnton and knew exactly where she was talking about when many others in Atlanta did not!).  I know you will all miss her but I hope you can take comfort in knowing how much she was thought of, loved and respected and will never be forgotten.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  May God Bless you all.
Sincerely, Debbie Wilkinson Woods

I worked with Betty at Newnan Hospital for many years.  I am so thankful I was able to see Betty last week and share a few laughs.  Betty was so much fun, and always had a smile on her face.  And, she never washed that coffee cup of hers because she said it had special seasoning!  My thoughts and prayers are with all of Betty's family and friends.  She will truly be missed.

In His God,

To the family and friends of Betty Ammerman.  I worked with Betty at Newnan hospital for several years.   She was such a joy to be around.  She was always so positive.  Although I haven't seen or spoken to Betty in years, she sent me a Christmas card every year.  She will be missed.

Though I had just met Ms.Betty a couple of weeks ago, it was such a pleasure getting to know her and her family. You guys welcomed me into the family and trusted me to take care of Ms. Betty in her time of need. She was a very kind person who was as Gayle put it " a true southern lady." I wish I could be there today to celebrate her life. I know she has been reunited with Mr.Bill so she is once again complete.
