Helen Horne
Helen Horne, age 72, of Newnan, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Newnan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on May 27, 1938 in Coweta County to the late Leon and Ina Elizabeth Thornton Yates. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Doyle Yates and sister, Sandra Muse. She was an active member of Elim Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, James Horne of Newnan; Children; Jenny & husband Anthony Grote, Glenn Rainey, Jeff & wife Nikki Rainey, Ronnie & wife Sara Horne, Ed Horne and Cathy Gent. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Harley, Seth, Jessica, Chris, Alex, TJ and Ben. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.mckoon.com The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McKoon Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the McKoon Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors; Searcy Jackson, Mike Harris and Danny Garrett officiating.
